Showcase the talents of your department throughout the year -- everyone needs a calendar!  Discuss sales & marketing, set a sales goal with incentives, and give your students a valuable real world art experience.

Product Description
Our 11 x 17 wall calendar includes 13 full color pages, including a full color cover featuring your school name and custom title. Professionally printed on premium card stock, bound and packaged, they arrive to you ready to deliver!

Instructions 
1) Create your calendar designs.  Bold and colorful designs with a theme sell best.
   • Artwork size must be 8½x11 or smaller; remove mats.  Artwork will be returned with your order.
        For larger artwork: send digital photos or scanned images.* 
        *Digital photos: shoot at 3 megapixels or higher in high quality mode.  
        *Scanned images: scan at 150dpi (300 for line art.)  
        Save the images as high quality jpegs, and email as attachments to info9@mountaincolor.com. 
        Include a separate email correlating the file names with title, artist’s name & grade.
   • Label designs with title, artist’s name & grade, and indicate top (for abstract designs).
   • Best mediums: oil pastels, colored pencil, acrylic, oil, watercolor, pen & ink, crayon, color photography. 

2) Send 13 designs.
   • Fill out the Custom Sales Sheet section below.
   • A color proof and sales sheets will be mailed/emailed to you within 1-2 days.
   • Upon receipt of your completed proof review, we ship your minimum initial order.

3) Sell your calendars!
   • Plan a brief, high energy sales period with your students.
   • Set a sales quota for each student with an incentive for reaching the quota.
   • Use your custom sales sheets to sell cards before they arrive and to take additional orders.
   • Visit sales ideas and participant showroom for great marketing strategies that have worked for other schools.

Ordering
• Minimum initial orders & reorders ship within 2 days. Allow 4-7 days for delivery. Rush service available.
• Reorder as needed in any quantity, at any time, for the same price per calendar.

**Optional: boost your profits selling advertising and birthday spots.
   It is possible to make more in advertising than the total cost for your calendars.
   • By selling advertising, you can achieve even greater profits and allow local businesses to show their support for your program.
   • Ads must be submitted as business cards (2 x 3½) and will be printed in black and white.
   • The number of ad spaces inside each month depends on the year, usually between 1 and 3.
   • The back cover of the calendar can hold up to 9 box advertisements.
   • You decide the price to charge local sponsors for your ads.
       On average, schools charge between $25-50 for back cover ads, and $50-100 for inside ads. 
   • Include business cards for advertisements, indicating where ad is to be placed (which month, or back cover).

   To determine the number of inside ad spaces for your calendar year, look at that year's calendar at a site like www.timeanddate.com/calendar/ 
Count the number of "blank" day spaces at the beginning and end of each month, enter the numbers in the box below and add them.

**Birthday spots are very easy to sell and the revenues add up quickly!
    • "Selling" a person their birthday listing in your calendar truly makes it a community attraction, and adds many people to your customer list! 
    • Ask teachers, staff, administrators, friends, community leaders, neighbors and citizens to sponsor their birthday on your calendars. 
    • Your goal?  Sell at least one birthday spot for every day of the year! 
    • Birthday spots are usually sold for $2-3 each, so everyone can afford one.
    • Simply email us a typed list of names & birthdays.
