Activity
Design an eye-catching, theme oriented 10 card variety package. Think
‘card design’--what grabs your attention on card racks?
Discuss sales & marketing, set a sales goal with incentives, and give your
students a valuable real world art experience.
Product Description
Each variety package includes 10 4x5 cards with envelopes. Each card features a
full color image on
the front and the artist's name and school info on the back.
Printed on premium card stock, cards are festively packaged with a ribbon tie
and arrive to you ready to deliver.
Instructions
1) Create your card designs. Bold and colorful designs with a theme sell
best.
• Best selling sets have themes:
holiday, all occasion, florals, local landmarks, etc.
•
Artwork size must be 8˝x11 or smaller; remove mats. Artwork will
be returned with your order.
For larger artwork: send
digital photos or scanned images.*
*Digital photos:
shoot at 3 megapixels or higher in high quality mode.
*Scanned images: scan at 150dpi (300 for line art.)
Save the images as high quality jpegs, and email as
attachments to info9@mountaincolor.com.
Include a separate email correlating the file names with
title, artist’s name & grade.

Label designs with title, artist’s
name & grade, and indicate top (for abstract designs).
•
Best mediums: oil pastels, colored pencil, acrylic, oil, watercolor,
pen & ink, crayon, color photography.
2) Send 5 or 10 designs for your card
set.
• Fill out the school & sales sheet info on reverse side and mail with your
designs.
• A color proof and sales sheets will be mailed/emailed to you within 1-2 days.
• Upon receipt of your completed proof review, we ship your minimum initial
order.
3) Sell your cards!
• Plan a brief, high energy sales period with your students.
• Set a sales quota for each student with an incentive for reaching the quota.
• Use your custom
sales sheets to sell cards before they arrive
and to take additional orders.
• Visit sales ideas and participant showroom for great marketing
strategies that have worked for other schools.

• Minimum initial orders & reorders ship within 2 days. Allow 4-7 days for

Maximum attachment size for a single email is 10MB - please send your images in multiple emails if you are near 8 MB,
as the actual files will decompress slightly while being sent.
